Workshop - Balancing the Curriculum

Victoria Groom - 10.50-11.30

Victoria is one of Educator Solutions' Education Advisers. This workshop provides an opportunity to consider your curriculum within the context of the current views of Ofsted, the importance of evidence informed practice and key priorities including:

  • Enabling all pupils to embed their learning through adequate opportunity for independent application
  • Securing development of language and reading  – especially for disadvantaged boys
  • Ensuring that teaching and intervention addresses gaps in understanding from previous year and key stage

This workshop will pose some challenging questions to get you thinking reflectively about your own curriculum intentions, choices and beliefs whilst providing some joined-up thinking around curriculum, practice and key priorities.
