We've basked in some lovely weather and then today, it's feels like we're having enough rain to cover us for the last month! Here's hoping it doesn't last for the whole weekend. 

The last month has been great for all things Airport Lynx - except for the intermittent issues with our landlines in the office. There's still no firm diagnosis which is very frustrating but it is being worked on. If you've had 'the crackle' we apologise profusely and assure you that we're making copious cups of tea for the technician each time he is called out to remedy the issue. Fingers crossed that we don't see much more of him.

Sandor has been working for Airport Lynx for just over two years – you’ll find him driving our lovely, large MPV, the Mercedes Viano. As usual, I opened my conversation with Sandor by asking why he had chosen to work for Airport Lynx. Sandor had heard so many good things about the company from both drivers and clients – and was in fact introduced to us by one of our other drivers and has been with us ever since. While I was deciding what to write for this week’s blog post I recalled a conversation with a driver yesterday about radio stations – apparently one had a different presenter to the usual person and the driver wasn’t happy that their ‘regular’ had taken annual leave! Read the full post here....

It’s great to have our office in Cottenham – it’s a thriving village with lots happening. Lynx Autocare was delighted to once again be sponsoring the Cottenham United Colts annual 5 a side tournament recently – the fun filled event took place at the recreation ground in Cottenham and the weather held good for the entire day which is a result in itself!

Cottenham Colts currently consists of 16 teams from the ages of 5 to 16 years. This event is one of the main fundraisers to support the provision of kits and a safe environment to practice for the following season. Read the full post here...

If you're around on Saturday 2 July, we'd love to see you at the Cottenham Festival. We've just booked to be part of it - there's going to be a whole day of fun for the family culminating in a childrens disco at 5pm and a Soul band at 8pm to take the celebrations through to the evening!
