COVID-19 Precautionary Control Measures

Requirements of our Suppliers and Contractors

As a provider of health care services Calvary remains continuously vigilant in the management of external risks that have the potential to impact on our ability to provide a continuous and uninterrupted supply of services to the public through our network of hospitals, aged care and community care services.

Calvary continues to take a public health approach to the management of COVID-19 (coronavirus) to mimimise potential harm to staff, patients, residents and clients. The situation is continuously evolving and requires monitoring on a routine basis.

The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) report that COVID-19 continues to spread across the world with increasing case numbers in a growing number of countries on several continents. In response to this situation, Calvary is implementing a number of measures in line with advice from the Department of Health including self-quarantine for travelers returning from higher risk countries.

If you are a provider of services to Calvary Health Care i.e. your staff or contractors frequent Calvary Health Care sites and come in to contact with our staff, patients or residents, then it is a requirement that you implement measures consistent with the advice from the Department of Health and communicate those requirements to your staff and subcontractors.

Your nominated Communication Representative

To aid us in effectively managing future communications and activities we require you to nominate a single point of contact in your organisation.

Please provide us with the contact details for that person by email to nationalprocurement@calvarycare.org.au  to include the following details:

First Name | Surname |  Position Title | Email | Landline | Mobile

We may make contact with your nominated representative in the coming weeks to better understand what measures you have implemented.

Notifiable Cases of Infection

Should you become aware of any cases of infection within your organisation or your subcontractors then you must advise us immediately by return email to nationalprocurement@calvarycare.org.au with the subject line of ‘COVID-19 CONFIRMED CASE”.

We will then work with you to help minimise the impact and ensure continuity of supply.

Open, honest and prompt communication is essential for us all to effectively manage this evolving situation. Your assistance and support in this important matter is genuinely appreciated.

Kind regards,

Damien Johnston
