It's now too late for standard postage orders placed with BINTEL to be shipped and arrive in time for Christmas - this includes the Sydney region.

We've touched on the Celestron StarSense Explorer range before. They are some of our best-selling telescopes and super popular with families, especially around Christmas. Part of this is due to their ease of use, great views on offer, and how they make locating both Solar System planets and deep-sky objects easy via a clever combination of your phone and a special Celestron app which is available for both Apple iOS and Android.

BINTEL carries a wide range of Astronomy and Nature books, charts and guides, including both the standard and compact edition of The Australia Bird Guide.
Another fascinating little book available at BINTEL is The Pocket Cloud Book.
Astronomers aren't fond of clouds, despite a decent cloud coverage being included with every telescope purchase. Despite this, they're an interesting topic and this $29.99 little book is a handy guide to them.
Quick reminder of when we're open - BINTEL Opening Hours over the Christmas/New Year break.
The BINTEL showroom in Glebe and in-person phone and support services are open normal hours throughout December Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.30am as well as Saturday from 9.30am to 4.00pm.
BINTEL is also open on Sunday, Christmas Eve – 24th of December 2023 – from 9.30am to 2.00pm.
We’re closed only on the NSW Public Holidays:
- Monday 25th December – Christmas Day – closed
- Tuesday 26h December – Box Day – closed
- Monday 1st January 2024 – New Years Day – closed
We are also open normal trading hours on the days between Christmas and New Year:

2023 has been a BIG year in space and astronomy!
During the break between Christmas and New Year we'll be compiling our "top hits" of 2023.
Was it some of the stunning images and discoveries by the JWST as it moved from testing to a fully operational space telescope?
Elon Musk's SpaceX managed to get the massive Starship, the largest rocket ever built by humans, (briefly) off the ground - TWICE! There's also been some incredible new astronomical products launched in 2023.
Let us know your thoughts on what the big events were for 2023 and we'll throw them into the mix for our end of year wrap up that we'll including in the final BINTEL newsletter for 2023.
