Happy Tuesday. On this day in 1958, the rapper Ice T was born “Tracy Lauren Marrow,” which he was forced to change because it was already the name of another gangsta rapper.

REPUBLICANS ARE STICKING TO their apparent belief that President Obama’s second term ended the moment Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s death was announced on Saturday.

IF SENATE MAJORITY LEADER (and guy who always looks as if he’s watching a ghost playing with himself) Mitch McConnell wants to block the president from appointing Scalia’s replacement, there’s nothing anyone can do about it — except make it the central issue of the 2016 campaign.

WHAT REPUBLICANS CAN'T DO is keep pretending that there is any historical precedent to denying the president the Constitutionally mandated authority to appoint a Supreme Court Justice in an election year.

IT'S SOMETHING THEY MADE UP — like Marco Rubio’s “accomplishments” or Jeb Bush’s “chances of becoming president.”

THE LAST REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT lied us into war, didn’t keep us safe and wasted trillions that could have been spent rebuilding America.

THAT'S NOT THE PLOT SYNOPSIS of the new Michael Moore movie; it’s a few of the louder opinions that were shared by the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for president, Donald Trump, at Saturday night’s GOP debate.

ON MONDAY, THE BUSH BROTHERS RESPONDED with the sort of glancing vagueness that has made Jeb the favorite of nearly 7 percent of South Carolina’s Republicans.

MORE THAN FIVE DOZEN GRAMMY AWARDS were handed out Monday night, most before the televised show even began, while most of the night’s winners were being airbrushed into their clothes.

TAYLOR SWIFT BECAME THE FIRST WOMAN to win album of the year twice, while Kendrick Lamar took home “Best Rap Album” and his performance of a medley of songs from “To Pimp a Butterfly” provided a sobering dose of consciousness and relevance — that lasted about four minutes before it was time to deliver a s**t ton of awards.

THERE WERE ALSO AWARDS FOR ALBUMS in Americana, American Roots Music, World, Reggae, Spoken Word, Jazz Ensemble, Latin Tropical and Regional Mexican Album. During the ceremony several other new genres were likely discovered that will all have their own categories next year.

Bernie Sanders Probably Won't Mind This Insane Mix-up...

NO, TED CRUZ HAS NOT GONE TRUTHER about Antonin Scalia's death. Yet.

CRACK UP—This crab was videotaped in Brazil brandishing a knife at a passerby, who was not nervous until he noticed that the crab was wearing a little bib.
