Brothers,

As we move forward with our summer, I wanted to encourage us all to strive towards making a positive impact in in someone’s life during these next few months.

We as Arrowmen all have a duty to support our brothers and to grow with them. This includes not only physical well-being, but also regularly checking in with our peers. The Order of the Arrow recently launched the #OABeBRAVE campaign, promoting mental health within our brotherhood.

As we conduct ourselves through our daily life, we should be reminded of our responsibilities to those among us. Making a positive impact, no matter how small, can truly demonstrate the scout spirit that we all live by.

Let’s have a great summer together, and continue to safely build our brotherhood through kind actions, meaningful interactions, and cheerful service!

Anthony Mills

The first week of summer camp is fast approaching and the Lodge leadership is looking forward to being back out at camp to enjoy this exciting time of fun and fellowship. The lodge has several events and activities planned for your week at camp.

Monday - OA Social   During the evening, we will have OA Social for all Arrowmen to learn about upcoming events and enjoy fellowship while enjoying snacks.

Tuesday - Brotherhood Conversion Day.  If you have been an Ordeal member for 6 months and wish to seal your membership in the brotherhood you will have the opportunity while at camp. You can hold your Brotherhood conference at Monday's lodge meeting or during the day on Tuesday. You will need to complete a brotherhood letter to be turned in during your conference. This letter is available at https://lodge70.org/brotherhood-conversion. Be sure to find Garrett Cook, the OA representative, for assistance in making your conversion while at camp. Remember your Membership dues need to be current before going through the ceremony and can be paid while at camp. Annual dues are $20.00.

Thursday - Callout Ceremony. Wear your favorite OA t-shirt during the day and volunteer to help with callout ceremony following the campfire program. There is a need for torchbearers and braves to assist with the callout.

The council's Scouting Museum will also be open Sunday and Thursday evenings for anybody that wants to see our lodge and council history. Be sure to find Garrett Cook, the OA representative, for assistance with all things OA at camp.

New OA Membership Portal

Today we're announcing a brand-new membership portal available to all lodge members! If you've joined the Order within the last three months, you may already be familiar with this portal. Until today, this membership portal was only available to new candidates but now has the needed features to serve everyone.

On June 2nd, we will begin sending invitation codes to the primary email address listed for each actively registered member. You must be 13 years old or older to receive an invitation. If you do not receive an invitation by Sunday, June 6th, please contact us at lodge70@lodge70.org.

There are steps you can take now to prepare for your emailed invitation code! Start by creating an ArrowID account using the button below. An ArrowID is the uniform National Order of the Arrow's IT system account. If you have access to LodgeMaster, this is the same account. Once you've created an account, sit back and relax until your invitation code arrives. When it arrives, click the "Claim Account" button in the invitation email to claim your account and log in with the ArrowID you make today.

The invitation expires after 14 days. Please claim your account as soon as it arrives so you don't forget.

Features Available

  1. Update your Member Profile to ensure that email, address, and phone numbers are correct. This ensures that you get all the latest communications from the Lodge. You no longer have to contact the Lodge to update your phone, email, or mailing address.
