All of us at Mt Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board wish our valued stakeholders, visitors and friends the very best for a festive and refreshing break. Don't forget to sample what our amazing alpine environment has to offer over summer - check our Facebook page or website for current information. See you in 2020. MHARMB office hours over Christmas / New Year Our office will be closed from Monday 23 December 2019 and will reopen on Thursday 2 January 2020. Road conditions during hot weather VicRoads has advised that parts of the Great Alpine Road between Harrietville and Hotham will be slowed to 40km/hr due to bleeding asphalt during hot weather periods. The bleeding is being caused by extreme heat conditions and increased holiday traffic. It’s not unusual for hot weather to result in some bleeding of the road surface, where the surface becomes soft and sticky. We thank drivers for their patience during this time – please consider all road users including cyclists, motorcyclists and large vehicles during your travel on our amazing road. If you would like to stop to take photos of our incredible views on the way, please only pull over where it is safe to do so. Real-time traffic conditions are available at https://traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au/ or via the VicTraffic mobile app. Grab your boules and challenge your friendsThe Davenport petanque/boules court is fun for all ages.
