Wil jij mee naar Silicon Valley?
In oktober organiseert Happy Aging een exclusieve reis naar Silicon Valley. Er zijn nog maar enkele plaatsen vrij. Aarzel dus niet én dompel jezelf onder in de unieke start-up cultuur van San Francisco. Kom bovendien alles te weten over de organisatie van ouderenzorg en de rol van de overheid, verzekeraars en andere stakeholders in healthy aging.
Met o.a. een bezoek aan Stanford University, het hoofdkantoor van Google, het woonzorgcentrum Brookdale en een meet-and-greet met talrijke Belgische en lokale ondernemers (i.s.m. BelCham) is het programma goedgevuld. Ook de Aging2.0 conferentie - een wereldwijd innovatieplatform rond aging – zullen we bezoeken.

Op 2 en 3 februari 2017 vindt de eerste editie van de AgeingFit conferentie plaats. Meer dan 600 deelnemers uit de ehealth, medical devices, voedingsindustrie, dienstverlening, academisch onderzoek, zorgverzekering en rusthuizen verzamelen in Lillle. AgeingFit combineert B2B meetings, lezingen, ronde tafel gesprekken, innovatie presentaties, een exhibitie ruimte en is de ideale gelegenheid om jouw netwerk uit te breiden. Happy Aging is één van de 74 Europese regio’s die erkend wordt door het Europees Innovatiepartnerschap als referentiesite voor actief en gezond ouder worden. Samen verbinden deze regio’s zich om meer dan 4 biljoen euro te investeren in digitale innovatie voor actief en gezond ouder worden.

CrossCare bundelt de krachten van 6 proeftuinen en biedt KMO’s ondersteuning bij de ontwikkeling van een idee tot marktklaar product. Ook Happy Aging werkt graag mee aan dit project. Tijdens de eerste ‘wave’ kregen liefst 22 bedrijven hulp.

Op 13/10 vindt de Innovatiebeurs plaats in C-mine, Genk. Happy Aging verzorgt een workshop over ‘innoveren met de eindgebruikers’. Ondernemers en ouderen/eindgebruikers komen aan het woord over hun ervaringen met de proeftuinwerking en CrossCare.

Want to go to Silicon Valley?
In October Happy Aging organizes an exclusive trip to Silicon Valley. There are only a few places left. So don’t hesitate and explore the unique start-up culture of San Francisco. Moreover you can learn everything about the organization of elderly care and the role of the government, insurers and other stakeholders in healthy aging.
With among others a visit to Stanford University, the headquarters of Google, the care center Brookdale and a meet-up with Belgian and local entrepreneurs (in collaboration with BelCham) we can present a rich program. We will also join the Aging2.0 conference, a global innovation platform for aging.

Did you know that ...
On the 2nd and 3rd of February 2017 the first edition of the AgeingFit conference takes place. More than 600 participants (E-health, medical devices, nutrition industrials, services providers and academic research groups, as well as health insurers and retirement homes) will gather in Lille. On the 13th of October 2016 the ‘Innovatiebeurs’ will take place in C-Mine, Genk. Happy Aging organizes an interesting workshop on ‘innovating with the end-users’. Entrepreneurs and seniors will talk about their experiences with the living lab and CrossCare.
