Home Prices are going UP!!!!   In February 2015, across Collin County, the median price for homes was up 6.9%.  

Number of homes listed through February 2015 is down 4.9%.   The means LOW inventory and a sellers market!

A few highlights for the month of February:

McKinney - New Listings down 5.5%  Median Price up 6.7%   

Allen - New Listings down 9.8 Median Price up 20.8%

Frisco - New Listings down 2.4% Median Price up 8.1%

Plano - New Listings up 4.0%  Median Price up 11%

Prosper - New Listings up 21%  Median Price up 5.3%

One of North Texas' community-oriented developers — Dallas-based Catalyst Urban Development — has secured nearly $21 million in construction financing for the initial phase of McKinney Urban Village.

The $30 million mixed-use and health science district in McKinney initially will feature a proposed 240-apartment luxury community adjacent to the Medical Center of McKinney near U.S. 75 and State Highway 121.

McKinney Community Garden

The Community Garden Kitchen will be a (4500 square foot)  free standing building adjacent to an existing preschool in east McKinney. The land for the facility has been provided by the preschool’s owner, the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas; architectural and design work has already been completed. The facility will consist of a lunchroom/gathering space, commercial kitchen and restroom facilities. During the day the Kitchen will serve the students attending the school. After school hours, the Kitchen will serve the community, providing a safe, welcoming environment where people enjoy nutritious food and fellowship. For additional information:
