Winter Food Appeal
There's still time to donate a gift of kindness! Council's Winter Food Appeal has been extended until Friday 21 August. Donations of non-perishable items will be distributed to St Paul’s Burwood and St Merkorious Charity.

Council has teamed up with NSW Police to actively keep the Strathfield CBD and Homebush West Shopping District smoke free and healthy places to be! Fines from $110 can be issued for smoking in smoke free zones.
Beirut Condolence Book
Council is encouraging the community to send out messages of support as Lebanon works to rebuild their capital in the wake of a devastating explosion. Strathfield Mayor Antoine Doueihi will deliver heartfelt messages from the Strathfield community to the Consul General of Lebanon in Australia.

Council’s Biosecurity Officer released tiny shrimps and mussels into the pond at Hudson Park this week for water quality control!
