Dear Eagles, I hope you all had a restful long weekend. It probably won't surprise you that my first spotlight this week is dedicated to Marathon Monday! I encourage you to take advantage of all the programming planned for you and to be mindful of BC policies so we can all enjoy a safe, successful, and fun day on campus. Other highlights this week include the 3rd week of Grad Appreciation Month and the McNair Scholars Program has extended its deadline and is accepting applications. I am thrilled to be running with fellow BC students and

Poetry Days Presents: Ada Limón:
The Carrying
Wednesday, April 20 at 7:00pm | Gasson 100Ada Limón will give a reading from her book The Carrying, followed by an audience Q&A. Of The Carrying, Milkweed Editions writes: “Vulnerable, tender, acute, these are serious poems, brave poems, exploring with honesty the ambiguous moment between the rapture of youth and the grace of acceptance. A daughter tends to aging parents. A woman struggles with infertility, and a body seized by pain and vertigo as well as ecstasy. A nation convulses. And still Limón shows us, as ever, the persistence of hunger, love, and joy, the dizzying fullness of our too-short lives.”
