Additional Carpark Spaces in Strathfield CBDStrathfield Council is pleased to announce the opening of 55 parking spots in Strathfield CBD, 20-34 Albert Road. The car park will be opened to the public for free every day from 6am until midnight with free 2-hour parking at all times. Illegal Tree Pruning Perpetrators of illegal tree works are liable to prosecution as are those (the unsuspecting property owners) allowing such works to occur. The maximum penalty in the Land and Environment Court of NSW is $1.1. million plus orders, for each tree or offence. Residents are requested to report unidentified tree loping contractors proposing unauthorised tree works, and their vehicle registration numbers, to Council. BreastScreen NSW in Homebush West Mayor Gulian Vaccari, his wife Simone, and Cr Stephanie Kokkolis visited the BreastScreen van in Homebush West this week. Mayor Vaccari encouraged residents to be screened, saying "early detection is vital for surviving breast cancer. Council fully supports the BreastScreen NSW initiative."
