Christmas Waste Services

Council’s waste services will continue as normal over Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year period. Please put your bins out the night before collection to ensure they are collected on your regular day. Collections will start at 4am on 25 December 2019 and on 1 January 2020.

Drive Safely this Festive Season

Double demerits will apply from Friday 20 December 2019 – Wednesday 1 January 2020. Make every journey a safe one this festive season.

Rotary Drought Appeal

Strathfield Council is teaming up with Strathfield Rotary and Bendigo Bank to support farming families in drought. Lend a helping hand and stand by our farmers this Christmas by making a donation today!

Who’s Your Local Hero?

Shine a light on an unsung hero in our local community by nominating them as a local or young citizen of the year. Nominations are open until 5pm Friday 10 January 2020.

Strathfield Park Amenities Building  

Council will commence works on a new amenities building in January 2020 to better facilitate the increasing community use of Strathfield Park. The amenities building will be placed in between both synthetic fields and is funded by the Australian Government’s Building Our Future scheme.

Help Fight Leaf Litter

Blowing leaf litter into gutters causes not only contamination but also creates blockages in our drains, resulting in fines. Collect your leaves and place them thoughtfully in your compost or green waste bins.
