In this issue we focus on a number of exciting updates including a grant that will provide funding for additional studies into the benefits of proton therapy, as well as news from the recent National Association of Proton Therapy (NAPT) 2015 Conference. PCORI Approves $11.8M Grant for Proton Study

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) recently approved funding for a clinical trial comparing proton beam therapy to conventional photo radiation therapy in treating certain breast cancers and minimizing radiation to surrounding healthy tissue.
