No Images? Click here Dear Families, I hope everyone had restful and meaningful holidays these past few weeks. We are excited to get rolling again with our programs! Monday night SOAR Bowling and Tuesday night SOAR Sports are back in session and we’ll be starting a new set of art and cooking classes later this month. I want to offer special congratulations this month to our Spotlight Theatre Company, whose short film, “That Was Awesome,” won the Audience Award for Outstanding US Narrative at the DC Shorts Film Festival! We’re so proud of the actors and their hard work. If you haven’t had a chance to see the film yet, it will be screened at the Book Festival of the MJCCA on Sun, Nov 11 at 11:30 am, as part of the Dawn Raffell and Edith Sheffer program about Sheffer’s book, Asperger’s Children and Raffel’s book, The Strange Case of Dr. Couney. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for the community and can be purchased online at atlantajcc.org/bookfestival.
