Financial incentives for Logan Employers

From 1 July 2017, City of Logan employers may be eligible for substantial financial incentives if they hire a long term unemployed person or young unemployed jobseeker.

The incentives are part of the Queensland Government’s Back to Work South-East Queensland program.

It features payments of up to $20,000 for local employers if they hire a 15 to 24 year old person who has not worked for the last four weeks and is not a full-time student (Youth Boost Payment).

Under the Employer Support Payment, employers can also access up to $15,000 if they hire a jobseeker who was previously unemployed for 52 weeks or more.
