Cooke Park Amenities BuildingWorks on a new amenities building at Cooke Park has commenced, which will include a café, change-rooms, umpires room, toilets and storage. Low Rise Medium Density Housing CodeThe Department of Planning & Environment has issued Strathfield Council with a deferral to the commencement of the Low Rise Medium Density Housing. This means applicants will not be able to lodge a complying development application for dual occupancies, manor houses or terraces until 1 July 2019. Mobility MapThe Strathfield mobility map is an invaluable tool to assist those with mobility challenges to orient themselves and identify the safest route of travel. When: Friday 27 July, 10am – 11.30am Throwback ThursdayWallis Reserve StrathfieldThe design and character of a park and its landscaping may reflect the period in which it was developed. The 1960 park layout is still evident at Wallis Reserve, with formal ornamental gardens, pergola, sundial and pathways layout.
