We are pleased to announce that Linda Oulton has joined the IAB as Professional Standards and Support Manager. Linda’s role will see her managing the supervision of Members in Practice, and she will be processing applications for practicing certificates as well as answering any questions on being in practice.

Time is running out to register your interest in joining the IAB Council

There is still time for you to register your interest in joining the IAB Council. There is a supportive process in place for those considering taking on a role as a Council Member. You will be invited to attend a meeting with the Appointments Committee, where you will be able to quiz current members of Council and the IAB Executive about what it is like to be a Council member, as well as what the role entails.

Scam alert

We have recently been contacted by one of our members about a scam they have received. They were contacted by someone claiming to be from The Federation of Police School Supplies regarding advertising in their magazine for a reduced fee. When the member asked them to send an e-mail with further details, the person on the phone became offensive and said the advert would be cancelled and they would look for someone else.
