JFPP students on the move12 new John Flynn Placement Program (JFPP) students have completed orientation and cultural workshops in Darwin and Alice Springs this week. The eager medical students will now set off on their first remote placements around the NT and experience firsthand the unique social and cultural aspects of living and working in remote communities. Generous subsidy changes - do yourself a favour and read this!NTGPE is committed to supporting GP registrars choosing MMM6 & MMM7 placements in 2019 and has revised the subsidy policy, effective February 4, 2019, to offer additional educational and financial support to those living and working remote.
The policy also includes emergency course and internet subsidies available to all GP registrars, as well as updates on claimable items and amounts for all GP registrars training. There is also now more flexibility in relation to respite breaks, relocation and educational subsidies. Read the full 2019 subsidy policy here.
