You don’t need to have a seaplane to visit Biscarrosse – but you might wish you did. That’s where a new Kodiak 100 Series III turboprop fits right in. On floats.

Designed from the start for float operations, without needing any structural or aerodynamic upgrades, the new 10-seat Kodiak STOL aircraft is right at home in Biscarrosse. Featuring the legendary Museum of Float Planes, and home to an International Seaplane Meeting, Biscarrosse is practically “seaplane heaven.”

With its carbon fiber floats, and corrosion proofing inside and out, the Kodiak offers heavenly performance on water, even salt water.
The new skin-gap sealant on the lower fuselage provides improved corrosion protection.

Aerocet® Model 6650 Amphibious Floats

After landing, the Kodiak’s pitch latch propeller maintains a fine pitch when shutting down, giving pilots greater control and safety when using floats.
This also lets you maneuver around docks easily.

Landing a Kodiak on water has been described as “touching down on a cushion.”

Water, Grass, Asphalt, Whatever

Although Biscarrosse supports seaplanes, the airport also offers asphalt and grass runways. A Kodiak tames them all. With its large 29" tires, and its exceptional short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities, a Kodiak easily handles grass runways – or whatever mission you throw its way.

While it is perfect for escapes to Southwestern France, the Kodiak is also a tough, versatile business airplane.

Transport executives or charters, quickly change for cargo, fly anywhere.

That rugged versatility makes the Kodiak suitable for aerial mapping, medivac emergencies, parachute operators, surveillance and reconnaissance, or other special missions.
