Checkout.com, a London-based transaction processor for internet companies, closed a $450 million Series C round at a valuation of $15 billion. Tiger Global Management led the investment, which included additional support from Greenoaks Capital, Insight Partners, DST Global, Coatue Management, Blossom Capital, Endeavor Catalyst and GIC.
Rapyd, a London-based startup offering digital payments software, collected $300 million in Series D financing led by Coatue. New investors Spark Capital, Avid Ventures, FJ Labs and Latitude also contributed to the round alongside returning backers General Catalyst, Oak FT, Tiger Global, Target Global, Durable Capital, Tal Capital and Entrée Capital.
Cockroach Labs, a New York-based distributed SQL database provider, picked up a $160 million investment led by Altimeter Capital that gives the company a valuation of $2 billion. New investors Greenoaks and Lone Pine also participated in the round, along with existing backers Benchmark, BOND, FirstMark, GV, Index Ventures and Tiger Global.
Prodigy Education, a math tutoring startup, landed 159 million Canadian dollars ($125 million) in Series B funding. TPG Growth led the investment, with Principal Jacqui Hawwa joining the company’s board. Canadian Business Growth Fund also participated in the round.
Workato Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based enterprise automation platform, secured $110 million in Series D financing valuing the company at $1.7 billion. Altimeter Capital and Insight Partners led the round, which included participation from Redpoint Ventures and Battery Ventures.
Curve, a London-based banking platform that allows customers to consolidate multiple cards into one smart card and app, snagged $95 million in Series C funding. IDC Ventures, Fuel Venture Capital and Vulcan Capital led the round, with additional contributions from OneMain Financial and Novum Capital.
Clark, a Germany-based digital insurance manager, nabbed €69 million ($84.1 million) in Series C funding. Tencent led the round, and was joined by Portag3 Ventures, White Star Capital and Yabeo.
M-Files Inc., an Austin, Texas- and Finland-based information management platform, grabbed an $80 million strategic investment. Bregal Milestone led the funding, which saw participation from Partech, Tesi and Draper Esprit.
Open Farm, a Toronto-based pet food brand, raised more than 80 million Canadian dollars ($63 million) in new funding. General Atlantic led the investment, which included participation from Encore Consumer Capital.
Jobber, a Canadian provider of home service management software, secured a $60 million growth equity round. Summit Partners led the investment, with additional support from Omers Ventures, Version One Ventures and Tech Pioneers Fund. Colin Mistele, principal at Summit Partners, joined the board.
Landing, a San Francisco-based startup offering fully-finished apartments and services, fetched $45 million in Series B funding, alongside a $55 million debt facility. Foundry Group led the Series B round, with participation from Greycroft and Maveron.
Relay Payments, an Atlanta-based electronic payment network in the transportation, logistics and supply chain industries, raised $43 million in funding. Addition led the round, which saw support from Ribbit Capital and Spark Capital.
airSlate Inc., a Boston-based business automation services provider, completed a $40 million funding round. Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital led the investment, with Pete Chung joining the company’s board. General Catalyst and HighSage Ventures also participated in the round.
