The BASL Annual Meeting is the highlight of the BASL calendar and the main liver meeting in the UK. With eminent UK and overseas speakers converging to deliver an informative and exciting meeting.

BVHG Meeting 10th June 2016. BOOKING NOW OPEN

Venue: Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

The BVHG meetings have been very successful, looking at a range of issues in viral hepatitis care, research, therapy and immunosuppression.

The meeting title is 'State of the Art Updates on Hepatitis B and Hepatitis E' which continues on these themes. Clinicians with significant experience in these fields will update us on present knowledge and practice.

BASL School of Hepatology 2nd - 3rd July 2016. SAVE THE DATE

Venue: Nottingham University Park Campus.  

The event, including overnight accommodation, is free to attend for all BASL Medically Qualified Members in Training and restricted to 40 delegates.

BASL School of Transplantation - 6th September 2016. - programme now available

Venue: Manchester Central, Manchester

The School of Transplantation will take place on Tuesday 6th September in parallel to the British Liver Transplant Group (BLTG) meeting, which both run prior to the start of the main BASL Annual Meeting, which starts on the afternoon of Wednesday 7th September.

Delegates will be encouraged to attend this day along with the BLTG themed sessions on the morning of Wednesday 7th September before the Annual Meeting.

Royal Free and UCL Post Graduate Hepatology Course 24 - 25th May 2016

Venue: The Atrium - The Royal Free Hospital, London.

This is a curriculum based course in Hepatology for Medical/Surgical GI trainees and other healthcare professionals. It is also a comprehensive clinical update for consultants.

European Club Liver Cell Biology – 7th edition - SAVE THE DATE - 6th - 8th October

Venue: Sunningdale Park, Ascot, Berkshire.

The European Club for Liver Cell Biology (ECLCB) meetings are held every 2-3 years and the goal of the meetings is to allow more junior physicians and scientists working in the field of cell biology and pathophysiology of the liver to share data, experience and reagents, as well as create new networks for international collaborations.

Places are limited to 80, therefore, early expressions of interest are strongly encouraged. Please send expression of interest to: k.rombouts@ucl.ac.uk.
