Belly Dancing Workshop Monday, April 8th | 7 PM - 8 PM | Streng Studio in Barnard Hall Annex Join Barnard Student and CU Raqs, Columbia's Middle Eastern dance troupe, for a belly dance instructional workshop! Learn the basics in the 1 hour class with Lauren, a dancer with 20 years of experience and the Artistic Director of CU Raqs, Participants will learn basic movements, posture/alignment for the dance form and an introduction rhythms/styles and terminology. FLOW Retreat Friday, April 12th - Saturday, April 13th | YMCA Greenkill The FLOW (Flourishing in Our Wellness) Retreat is sponsored by Barnard Student Life in collaboration with Well Woman. This off-campus retreat embodies a holistic approach to how we navigate wellness through special justice lens. It is open to all Barnard students and will help foster a sense of community by focusing on personal growth, identity exploration, and building meaningful connections with others.
