Are you elderly, disabled, isolated or otherwise vulnerable? Council has set up a hotline to assist those in the community requiring special help and to ensure they are not forgotten. Call 9748 9939 Monday – Friday from 8.30am – 5pm.
Woolworths are also working to assist the community with a dedicated shopping hour for the elderly and disabled, between 7am-8am. The closest store offering this service to the Strathfield LGA is at Strathfield Plaza. Woolworths in Burwood Plaza is one of nine priority online delivery hubs dedicated to vulnerable people. In the interest of public health and safety, Strathfield Council has implemented a number of changes to protect the public and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Customer Service hours have changed to the below:
Monday: 10am – 2pm
Tuesday: closed
Wednesday: 10am – 2pm
Thursday: closed
Friday: 10am – 2pm

Join the global movement by switching off at 8.30pm for 60 minutes on Saturday 28 March and show your support for the environment.

Council’s draft 2020-2021 Operational Plan, Budget, Fees and Charges and revised Resourcing Strategy is on public exhibition until 5pm on 1 April 2020. The draft plans can be viewed at Council’s Customer Service Centre or online.
