EMTC is Open from 8.00am Thursday 14th May - with restrictions

EMTC are very pleased to advise that the tennis courts will reopen for Member play only from Thursday 14th May 2020.  At this point we will not be able to accomodate guests.

Whilst we are very excited to get Members back on court, we need to remain vigilant in ensuring the Club remains a safe and healthy environment for all Members. The COVID-19 situation is a dynamic one and all precautions need to be taken to ensure that we can continue to operate the tennis club with minimal risk.

We will have full "Return to Tennis Guidelines" available to members around midday tomorrow.

Our Restricted hours of Operation will be as follows:
Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 10.00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8.00am to 8.00pm

The Clubhouse remains CLOSED.
Toilets will be open, and regularly cleaned.
Showers & change areas are not to be used.
All outdoor chairs/bench seats are not to be used.
Please play your tennis and then leave the Club.

Court Booking System:
Court bookings are highly recommended via phone on 9793 7888 (Chris Woods’ law firm)

These bookings must be phoned through between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Chris Woods and staff are doing this on a volunteer basis, as a short-term fix. It is a necessary requirement of the authorities during the Coronavirus period that there be a booking system, and it will give some certainty as to times available and keep a record of which members have attended the club, and when.  Chris can't take the calls.  Please be understanding and ready for your booking, and note Chris’s staff are not very familiar with tennis or the club and this is new to them too.

Please note: – ALL court bookings after 6.00pm will require payment of the $12 Light Fee.  This is to be paid with credit card at the time of booking. (We will not be taking any cash payments at this time.) The Lights will be turned on by Coaching or Committee.

Coaching will also resume Thursday and Futures Tennis Academy will be in touch with their clients seperately.
