Could Tai Chi help manage breast cancer treatment side effects?

We're funding a new study exploring whether Tai Chi can be beneficial to patients being treated for breast cancer. This is one of the many research projects we're funding to help actively support patients and develop more effective breast cancer treatments. In 2018 we'll be making $1.26 million available for innovative new projects.

This season, in addition to the fantastic $50K they give us every year, Pink Lady® Apples gave us bushels of their delicious apples (5,400 to be exact!) to give away in support of events like our Pink Star Walks, National Educator outreach and Pink Caravan nurses. Awesome!!

Sealybrity Designer Bed campaign delivers again!

The fight against breast cancer takes many forms, as bed manufacturer, Sealy New Zealand, has proved five years in a row with their inspired Sealybrity Designer Bed Campaign. Earlier this year, Lisa Carrington, Antonia Prebble, Stan Walker and Ardie Savea each created a one-off fabric design to cover a Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite bed. Following the TradeMe auction of these special beds, $25,000 was donated to BCFNZ for our work in education, support and research!
