    Funding Opportunities

     

    BCcampus Learning Access Program for Educators (LAP-E) supports applicants to allow them to participate and share their ideas as well as learn from others. BCcampus aims to provide a diverse set of voices to its events and will balance regional participation with budget limitations.

    The LAP-E assists with registration fees as well as travel, per diem, and accommodation costs. We are currently accepting applications for the following events:

      1. Résumer, Synthétiser, Argumenter​ 
      This French language textbook comes from ecampusOntario Open Library. Le manuel Résumer, synthétiser, argumenter s’adresse aux étudiants de français langue seconde de niveau avancé (3e ou 4e année universitaire, essentiellement). 

      2. Cree: Language of the Plains / nēhiyawēwin: paskwāwi-pīkiskwēwin​​
      By Dr. Jean L. Okimāsis and published by the University of Regina Open Access Publishing, this book offers a broad range of learning materials easily accessible to Cree language learners. It includes Cree language audio labs and a language workbook.

      3. Two more textbooks from OpenStax, each with an editable Pressbooks copy:

      4. Introduction to Community Psychology
      This new Rebus Community textbook shows students how to comprehensively analyze, investigate, and address escalating problems of economic inequality, violence, substance abuse, homelessness, poverty, and racism.
