Council Closure Notice

Council offices including the Libraries will be closed tomorrow for an Industry Public Holiday. Normal hours will resume Monday 11 March. Council essential services will continue as normal and are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies on 9748 9999.

Homebush West Town Centre Upgrade

Strathfield Council is working to improve the appearance of Henley Road. The project will commence today with the section of Henley Road between The Crescent and Exeter becoming One Way. Council will have traffic controllers on site to assist with delivery access to businesses, traffic and pedestrian movements. Construction work will begin in the next couple of weeks.

Did you get your gloves on this Clean Up Australia Day? A big thank you to local members of our community who put in hours of work to keep Strathfield beautiful! There were approximately 2,000 people who took part to collect 800 bags = 200 bins full of litter!

Synthetic Fields Underway

The ground is currently being prepared for two new synthetic fields at Strathfield Park and Cooke Park. The fields are expected to be completed by mid-year and will no doubt bring hours of enjoyment to our local sports stars!

Strathfield District Park

Hudson Park Golf Course is now closed and in the process of being decommissioned. Work will then begin on the site in preparation for the new District Park. Council is excited to bring this new green space to residents!
