The new signals are at each end of the tunnel and will be used to control traffic during maintenance and improvement works and in the event of a major incident. There’s a lot we have to check before the lights go operational,” says Wellington City Council Signals Project Manager Tim Kirby. “We’ll be doing the testing between 9am and 2.30pm to minimise any disruption. Once we’re happy that everything is working as it should, the signals will be turned off until such time as they are needed to help manage traffic during the installation of new interior lighting in the tunnel and earthquake strengthening work due to start in August.” The new signals are a permanent fixture at both ends of the tunnel. When there are no works taking place in or near the tunnel, the signals will be turned off. Diet free weightlossAre you unhappy with your shape and size? Have you tried every diet without success? THE GENTLEMAN'S CLUBGentlemen know that great things always come in threes. So we, at William & Emerson, have created the Gentleman’s Club, combining three of our finest MANDLES – Leather, Tobacco and Whiskey. We know it's not just one thing that makes a gentleMAN, it’s MANy. We always hold the door open for the ladies, it’s the only way to see both the front and the back. Our drinks come in two types 12 year old and 18 year old. Our interior decorating ideas always include mahogany, leather and antlers. And we only smoke in a suitable jacket with unsuitable friends. Our rules are simple, but ever so gentleMANly. Can Anyone Learn to Draw?Anyone can learn to draw. Children under ten are usually contented with their beautiful, colourful symbol drawings and paintings (as we all are!) and are probably best left to pursue those in their own way. At this stage in their development, they are more aware of the shapes and colours and how they fit together than whether their creations look real or not. They are more likely to benefit from art experiences – opportunities to explore different materials and activities that stimulate their inherent creativity.
