Special Message from America's Christian Credit Union's Board ChairDear fellow ACCU members, It is a privilege to be a fellow member with you of such a dynamic financial partner as America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU), sharing common values and a deep commitment to Christ and His work. Truly, ACCU has set a high standard of financial strength and excellence as a testimony to our Lord and His call to be effective stewards of God’s resources. You may already be aware that Mendell Thompson will retire as President/CEO of our credit union early next year. Mendell has faithfully served ACCU for over 40 years exemplifying excellence, competence, and godliness in his leadership. We will miss him but know that in retirement, he and Reanna will enjoy the many blessings of God, especially grandkids. I want to assure you that your credit union’s Board of Directors has been prayerfully discussing this eventuality for nearly two years and we are confident in the process of identifying the next President/CEO to lead us into new levels of ministry. Last summer we secured the partnership of the executive search firm, Carter Baldwin. We are pleased with the good progress in this process and plan to announce a new President/CEO later this Fall. We are in the midst of an extensive nation-wide search and extremely pleased with the high quality candidates who epitomize deep Christian character and high levels of executive and financial expertise. God clearly has his hand upon ACCU and we are trusting the Holy Spirit to grant discernment and wisdom in this process. We are excited about the future and know that our next President/CEO will lead us into new chapters and heights of ministry impact in our nation through sound financial excellence. I invite you to join us in regular prayers for the coming months – for Mendell and Reanna, for the Board and search process, for the next President/CEO, and for the growing reach of ACCU as a highly respected and impactful credit union that influences our culture for Christ. Thank you for your continued support of your credit union. Blessings, Rev. Kevin W. Mannoia
