No images? Click here DID YOU KNOW? The Everest gala has been held every year since the school opened in 1991. Early Everest galas were even held on campus in the first floor of the current high school building, which was then the only operational area of the school. The first floor doubled as a hallway, lunch room... and gala venue! A lot has changed in the last 28 years, but the importance of the gala has not. The gala is an essential part of Everest's annual operating budget as well as an opportunity for the school to fund special projects. For the past few years, members of the Everest community have shared ideas about how to change the gala, and we are excited about the direction for this year. Here's what's new and what you need to know about this year's gala. WHAT'S NEW? The 28th annual Everest Gala All for Him: Setting the Stage for Future Leaders kicked off in November. This year's gala will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Andiamo Showroom in Warren. Not only will the venue be new and have space for up to 600 guests, we also have a new format and a new focus. This year's silent auction will be hosted online by 32 Auctions during Catholic Schools Week next week, featuring mostly items related to Everest including light pole banners, calendar pages, VIP packages, and more! If the silent auction is online, what does the night of the event look like? The live auction will feature ten of the biggest and best auction items. The fund-a-need will focus on providing sound systems and projectors for both the academy and the high school buildings. Live entertainment will be provided by Nuclassica and Simone Vitale. The night will be a fun evening to celebrate the gift of the Everest community. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
This year's gala brings many new exciting changes, but the heart of the gala hasn't changed: We love our Catholic school! The mission Everest continues to accomplish has been made possible - since its doors opened - because of the generosity of the Everest community and its benefactors. Let's continue building Everest. Can we count on your participation to make this year's event a success and support the formation of tomorrow's leaders? |
