Dear Eagles, It's hard to believe it is officially Spring! I know that this time of year can be challenging, given finishing up midterms and room selection. Be sure to take care of yourself, get out and enjoy the slightly warmer weather, and remember there are a variety of student affairs resources available to you. My top picks for this week include CARE Week, the Thea Bowman AHANA and Intercultural Center is promoting a variety of programs including the APAHM Opening Ceremony, and the BC bOp! Annual Showcase is next Saturday. There are also some deadlines approaching. Apply for the McNair Scholars Program today or apply for an Eagle Intern Fellowship to fund your summer internship by April 4. I am beyond thrilled that we have gotten so many submissions from BC students running the Boston Marathon. As mentioned in my letter last week, we want to cheer for you! If you are running the Boston marathon and would like to be featured, please fill out this form. Finally, keep a lookout for an official Mile 21 programming announcement later this week. We turn away from our sinfulness and recommit ourselves to following Jesus. Ignatian contemplation and reflective prayer encourage us in the season of Lent. Throughout the season of Lent, a member of the BC community shares his or her thoughts on the season and the importance of passing on the faith. A new reflection is posted on Friday for each week of Lent. Academics Ukraine: In War, in Peace, in History: An Interdisciplinary Panel |
