We are delighted to see the high levels of enquiries this year so far. This newsletter summaries our 2022 highlights and looks ahead at our spaces for 2023. 2022 Highlights 1. Denver Broncos - In October 2022 we welcomed to the Denver Bronocs NFL Football Team. The team undertook a week of training at Harrow School. During their time with us, they hosted an international press conference for the media, enjoyed a bespoke tour of Harrow School and went on to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-17. at Wembley Stadium. The team also hosted a unique training session with 120 local children in partnership with Young Harrow Foundation, Harrow Club and Shaftsbury Enterprise. 2. Met Police - We were proud to be the Metropolitan Police venue of choice for their 2022 Commendation awards. The event celebrated 200 local police officers who had gone above and beyond in their service. The awards were also attended by families and friends of the officers. 3. Nike and Next 'World Cup' content - Nike and Next hosted a 2 day content shoot on the Harrow School grounds, capturing incentivizing social content for the World Cup 2022. Our team enjoyed spotting our locations during the football matches this Winter! Harrow School Enterprises is proud to be a part of the Schools' Enterprise Association (SEA). The SEA is an independent national members organisation founded to provide support and guidance for schools’ management teams responsible for generating additional revenues through the commercial letting of schools’ facilities. We are thrilled to work alongside the 80 strong School Enterprise divisions. The collection means we can work alongside our collegues and ensure best practice and knowledge sharing! The SEA Annual Conference and Exhibition, held towards the end of the Spring term each year, brings together members and prospective members to share experiences and get inspiration from invited speakers and relevant exhibitors. 19th and 20th April 2023 – Cheltenham Ladies’ College Host a meeting in one of Harrow School’s unique venuesFrom 450-year-old buildings to modern meeting rooms with state-of-the-art facilities, Harrow School has a range of unique venues suitable for any type of corporate event. Venues at Harrow School, which can be booked to host a meeting include The Alex Fitch Room, West Street Meeting Room, Field House Club, Old Harrovian Room and Hill Meeting Room. Over the past three years, Harrow School has invested significantly in audio-visual provision across our meeting rooms and congregational spaces. We also have a large selection of classrooms available for hire. This blog post includes a short description of each venue to help you decide which space may be suitable for your next corporate event.
The Field House Club The Field House Club is a unique venue used for the School’s cricket fixtures. This venue is perfect for daytime meetings and intimate, corporate dinners/lunches. The Hill Meeting Room The Old Harrovian Room is located within Harrow School’s War Memorial Building. The venue is situated on the first floor. Suitable for board meetings, a standing reception or medium sized dinner. The Venue has an automated, motorised projection screen which has been designed to be concealed when not in use, as well as a 4K projector and high-end sound system. The West Street Meeting Room is a modern space seating 25, boardroom style. Located just a short distance from Harrow on the Hill train station means the venue is easily accessible via public transport. The West Street Meeting room is equipped with two LED screens – one 80 inch and one 45 inch – which allow presentations to be seen from anywhere in the room. Building for the Future Harrow School is undergoing exciting transformative projects to ensure the margin of excellence that distinguishes Harrow Schools continues. Supporting the next generation, a new Biology and Chemistry venue is well underway. The venue will be home to exceptional, state-of-the-art facilities; once completed it will also be available to hire. The build's includes; a lobby and break-out space with a stunning digital LCD wall. A 180-seat lecture hall, equipped with the latest audio-visual technology. A sustainable-energy centre which will supply efficient utilities to both the Science Schools, our new Sports Centre and other parts of the School. Our Events team are excited to continue providing updates on the builds progress. What an exciting modern addition to our event portfolio this will be. Added Value, why not add a Private Tour?Visit some of the most spectacular and historic rooms and buildings at Harrow School including the Fourth Form Room, Speech Room, Chapel and War Memorial Building, amongst others, accompanied by one of our knowledgeable guides. Private guided group tours of Harrow School can be arranged on almost any weekday, Monday to Friday, in term time or by special arrangement in the School holidays.
