NTGPE Annual General MeetingAll board members are advised that an AGM will take place as follows: Date: Tuesday 14 May Register or submit an abstract for AIDA 2019The AIDA Conference 2019, themed "Disruptive Innovations in Healthcare", will be held in Darwin from 2 – 4 October. Abstract submissions close 30 June and registrations close 30 August. Recognition for outstanding GP registrars and GPsNow's the time to nominate an outstanding GP registrar or GP working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. The Growing Strong award recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander GP registrars during the early stages of their GP career. Or, if you know of any GPs working with communities to close the gap, or would like to see a GP and community group recognised for their hard work, nominate them for the Standing Strong Together award. Sophie is a recently fellowed GP who completed her entire training term with NTGPE. Based in Alice Springs, Sophie is currently working for the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress at their Headspace Clinic.
