Spotlight on Dye Camps!

We have EIGHT different Dye Camp classes, offered July 22 - 25. We are excited to have Kelly Hutchens in town teaching us how to dye all kinds of things. No machines or particular skills are required, and classes will be held outside, rain or shine (we will have a tent). Classes are ridiculously affordable - dye fabric and take it home for less than $10 per yard. Learn the techniques and dye your own fabric after camp is over. Dress for mess and register soon - they are sure to sell out quickly!

Beginner Classes:

Class 1: The Basics

Class 2: Color Wheel - 2 different dates available

Class 3: Shades of Color

Class 4: Tones of Color

Class 1-4 Combination, at a special price

Level 2 Classes

Class 5: Tray Dyeing

Class 6: Silk or Velvet Scarf Dyeing

Class 7: Nature Printing a Silk Scarf

Class 8: Dyeing Ombre Silk Ribbon and Cording

Frequently Asked Questions

How much are the classes? They range from $25 - $65, depending on the class.

Is everything included in the price? Yes! Just show up, have fun, and take home beautifully dyed fabric!

How much fabric will I be dyeing? Count on 3 1/2 - 7 yards, depending on the class. Check listings for specifics.

The September Shop Hop kicks off with the first day of passport sales on Thursday, June 11th. Grab your passport and your first stamp from 10 am till 7 pm. Passports include 14 different project cards, as well as coupons for each of the participating shops! This year's theme is "Folklore and Fairy Tales: Creating Magic & Dreams, One Stitch at a Time".
