Gold Coast Weekly | Issue #35 | Walk your dog on a leash

With Spring bringing us sunny skies, how are you enjoying the warmer weather?

Issue #35: In this week's edition, we're reminding all dog owners to take the lead on dog walking, inviting you to our CBD Sundown Laneway Launch Party and bringing you details on how you can have a day of family fun with the Smurfers Paradise Scavenger Hunt.

Take the lead on dog walking

Take the lead on dog walking these school holidays

Are you a proud parent of a fur-baby? We're reminding all dog owners that the safety of your four-legged friend is in your hands.

Walking your dog on a leash is part of being a responsible dog owner. For the safety of your dog and of others, all dogs in a public place must be on a leash at all times unless in a signed, designated off-leash area.

Although you may think that your dog is friendly and harmless, other people and their canine friends have the right to be feel safe when enjoying public areas and out in the community.

While you're out and about, don’t forget to take dog bags with you, as no one likes standing in an unpleasant surprise.

These school holidays when you take your dog for a walk, be a responsible dog owner and take the lead.
