This month held so many incredible volunteer experiences that made an impact on our community. Volunteering is often an expression of gratitude: we are thankful for the time we have, and we spend it wisely when we give it away. Thank you to all of those who supported Team Giving and donated their time to our community this month.

There is still time! The reporting deadline for our challenge grant opportunity is December 15th. If you have not yet had a chance to donate, your gift will count towards the $35,000 we need to raise from the Sacramento community, in order to receive $150,000 from our grantor. If you haven't yet made a year-end gift, this gift will have immense impact on Sacramento region volunteerism.

Cookie Academy
December 17 in Sacramento
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest entrepreneurial program for girls in the world! Volunteers needed from 5pm - 8pm. Cookie Academy volunteers will help with event set up and clean up, and guide girls through activity stations.
Santa Hustle
December 22 in Roseville
It's not just a race. It's a magical experience! Support Stand Up Placer's annual holiday 5k, raising funds for their work empowering survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, & human trafficking. Morning volunteers needed!
A new garden was built for homeless clients to tend and enjoy.
A campus fall refresh for women & children rebuilding their lives.
