Message from our President
To those that proudly wear the badge, we are forever grateful for the risks that you take every day to protect and serve our communities. And for those that have been lost to senseless murder, their bravery and dedication will never be forgotten.
These are without a doubt very difficult times, but I’m confident that with constant positive support to our men and women in blue that law enforcement and the communities they protect will become stronger than ever before.
From my team to yours, we thank you, we support you and we respect the job you take on every single day to keep America safe.

As officers approached the vehicle during a traffic stop, the vehicle fled. StarChase was deployed and the vehicle was located several blocks away.
Ingrained in every law enforcement officer are a few basic tenets: serve and protect, and catch evildoers before they can do more harm. It’s what they are paid to do, often risking their lives to accomplish those two goals.
An analysis done by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, in conjunction with the National Institute of Justice, revealed that 91% of all reported police chases are initiated over non-violent crimes. Simple traffic violations (e.g. rolling a stop sign, or driving with a busted taillight) account for nearly half of these.

Officer Reflection
Sergeant Stacey Allen Baumgartner
Patton Village Police Department, Texas

Our deepest condolences to the Patton Village Police Department, family and friends of Sergeant Stacey Baumgartner. Sergeant Baumgartner was killed when his patrol vehicle collided with another vehicle during a pursuit. An 11-year-old child was also killed and so were several other innocent motorists. Are thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragic event.
He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
