Countdown 'til Christmas Carols
Join us for a day of festive fun and cheer at this year’s Christmas Carols! Bressington Park will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland with children’s activities, stage performance, petting zoo, a visit from Santa Claus as well as a special Movies in the Park screening of The Grinch (2018) and magical fireworks display.

Columbia Lane, Homebush
The due date for submissions regarding the development application for 11-17 Columbia Lane, Homebush, is Friday 8 November. Two information sessions, open to the public, will be held on Thursday 31 October at 3pm-4pm and 6pm-7pm at Strathfield Library. Submissions can be emailed to council@strathfield.nsw.gov.au
Strathfield Library Upgrade
Council is pleased to announce Strathfield Library will be upgraded to provide the community with a more comfortable and engaging space. As a result, there will be reduced services from Monday 2 December and the library will be shut down after Friday 20 December 2019 until March 2020.

Share your feedback on the draft Strathfield 2040 - Local Strategic Planning Statement which outlines the planning priorities for the Strathfield area, including in relation to planning for Greater Sydney. Submissions must be made by 5pm Friday 8 November 2019.
