We are required to check each and every person entering this facility for vaccination status.The District is making the following changes to ensure a safe environment and that each and everyone is vaccinated or has a negative Covid-19 test within 72-hours of using the facility. (See more information below on vaccination requirements). In addition, please show up showered. Participants will be able to shower afterwards, but not before. This is to allow for better control social distancing in the pool. See below for more detailed information.APPOINTMENT ONLY!: Appointments must be made before using the pool and can be made by calling (206) 824-4722 (There are no online appointments.). All spots are first-come, first-served. You can be added to a waitlist. If a spot becomes available three hours before a swim, staff will contact you. NEW PUBLIC SWIM SCHEDULE: All swims will be in one-hour increments to serve more people and ensure better social distancing. To see the exact swim times, view schedule below. IMPORTANT! Please read the following guidelines and be aware of them before visiting the pool for your chosen activity. (Guidelines below take effect on October 25, 2021.) UPDATED SCHEDULE: See schedule (effective October 25) at bottom of email. ONE APPOINTMENT PER DAY: Users will be limited to one appointment per day. This is to ensure everyone gets access to the limited pool time. SHOWERING: Come ready to swim with your swimsuit on under your clothes. Showering before entering the pools helps ensure clean, clear and safe water conditions. We will allow people to shower on their way out to better have flow through the facility and ensure social distancing outside of the water. SOCIAL DISTANCING: It is important all patrons keep six feet of social distance including while in the water (without their mask on) and outside the water. (See section below for more information.) MASKS: Masks are still required for all facility users outside of the pool. Chairs will be left on the side of the pool for patrons to keep their masks, while they are in the water. CHILDREN UNDER 12: Children under 12 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult. Everyone 12 years and older will need to meet the vaccination verification requirements above. SPECTATORS (INCLUDING SWIM LESSONS): Spectators will not be allowed for swim meets or practices. Parents can wait in their cars. The only exemption is parents with children under the age of 12, who attend swim lessons or family swims. These parents will need to follow the vaccination verification rules above. VACCINE EXEMPTIONSPatrons that are not vaccinated must provide proof of a negative test within 72 hours of entry into the facility. This includes anyone with an exemption. OCTOBER 25 SCHEDULE UPDATEPatrons are limited to one appointment per day, and can make reservations up to two business days prior. All reservations are first-come, first-served.
