Cheer on athletes at our Gold Coast Paralympic Live Site

With the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games kicking off, pack a picnic rug and come cheer on our Aussie athletes at the Gold Coast Paralympic Live Site. Join us daily from 8am to 8pm Tuesday 24 August through to Sunday 5 September in Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach to watch all the live action of the Games on the big screen.

Bring the whole family along for free all-abilities sporting activities from 9am to 3pm on the weekends of 28 to 29 August and 4 to 5 September. Sports will include volleyball, basketball, soccer, athletics high jump, fun relay races, baseball (pitching target game), badminton and rugby.

Plan your trip ahead and catch the G:link to Broadbeach North or make your journey active and walk, ride, scoot or skate to the live site. Accessible car parks are available in the Kurrawa Surf Club car park.

Wear white for White Balloon Day

Wear white to show support this White Balloon Day

Bravehearts’ annual White Balloon Day is Australia's largest campaign dedicated to preventing and raising awareness of child sexual assault and exploitation.

 

Get involved and show your support for the initiative at home, work, school or your local club by wearing white on Friday 10 September.  

 

The day coincides with National Child Protection Week which is held from 5 to 11 September 2021. For a range of resources on how you can help protect children, visit White Balloon Day's website.
