Click here 27 June 2019 NTGPE CEO, Mr Stephen Pincus RTON Chair announcementWe’re excited to announce NTGPE CEO, Mr Stephen Pincus, has been appointed as Chair of the Regional Training Organisation Network (RTON) group. Mr Pincus said RTON was committed to training GP registrars for fellowship and the primary healthcare workforce needs of all Australian regions. “We will continue to work collaboratively with both ACRRM and RACGP to ensure high quality education and training for all registrars,” Mr Pincus said. “Our key focus will be to support the smooth transition of GP training to the Colleges and to work with the Colleges, Department of Health and other stakeholders to increase GP registrar numbers in the AGPT program, particularly in under-serviced rural and remote areas.” Congratulations, Stephen! Abstract submissions for ANZPMEF2019 close tomorrow and may cover any topic related to the training of junior doctors, medical education and patient care, however preference will be given to abstracts that relate to the conference theme.
