Term 2 is well underway. The coming weeks are full of more exciting events and activities for our campus community, including the Lower North Coast Cross Country in Kempsey and College Concert Band playing at Port City Bowling Club and the P&C Mother’s Day Stall.
It’s been a massive couple of weeks for our sporting teams. Congratulations to Kayle Enfield, Cameron Gray, Jackson O'RourkeO'Rourke and Sam Reniers, who competed in the Swimming NSW Championships 200 m Freestyle Relay this week. What a fantastic effort - ranked 14th in the State.
Our triumphant Hastings Secondary College Under 14's team have progressed to the next round of the prestigious Buckley Shield State-wide competition!
Pirate day Friday 14th of May!
Lets help make brain cancer walk the plank! On Friday the 14th of May students can come to school dressed as a pirate, or wearing red, white, or black clothes! There will be a pancake breakfast, Treasure Hut, 'Toss the Boot' challenge, and music in the cola!
There will be a gold coin donation and all funds raised will go towards Brain Cancer research.
Mothers Day Stall
It's that time of year again, where all mums deserve a little something special. Mother's Day gifts will be selling in the Cola on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 May. There will be a selection of gifts from $5 - $20 to help put a smile on the faces of all our fantastic mums.

Year 7 and 8 Superhero Disco has been rescheduled to Thursday 24 June. Letters are being sent home to parents and carers early Term 2. You can also download the permission slip by clicking the button below.
Year 7 Information and Open Nights
Principals Ian Ross and Meaghan Cook along with teaching staff at each campuses welcome you and your family to our Year 7 2022 Information and Open nights from 6pm - 8pm. You will experience some of the fantastic opportunities available at the Hastings Secondary College and have all your questions answered.
Creative Kids Vouchers
Each child at school is eligible for a creative kid voucher through Services NSW (These are separate from the Active Kid vouchers).
