Download yours from the website today. Strathfield Spring Festival The playground upgrade at Ford Park is almost complete! Take your little ones to the park to enjoy the new tower, swing-a-way, and surf board rocker. There is also a new shade structure and soft rubber flooring. Ford Park is 1 of 18 playgrounds being upgraded – stay tuned for more updates! Council is testing the quality of waterways in the LGA as part of a water quality improvement program. The program monitors the health of the river and works to improve the water quality for the animal and plant life supported by it. What can you do to help?
Libraries of StrathfieldThese amazing photos are of the Strathfield High Street Library c. 1970s. The High Street Library was the second library built in the LGA, the first being at 75 Parramatta Road, Homebush. In the photos you can see the old catalogue system, before we moved to digital and it’s great to see Storytime at Strathfield Main Library in 2017, looks to be just as popular as in the 1970’s!
