Coronavirus Updates and Resources for SLSNSW ClubsUpdated 19 June 2020 Non-contact sporting activities including swim, board, ski, sprint and IRB training can recommence for groups of up to 20. For IRB training, it is recommended that live patient pick-ups are kept to a minimum, with alternative equipment being used to resemble patient pick-ups. All other water craft training activities are permitted if they are to the benefit and enhancement of rescue readiness and patrolling preparedness. The full SLSNSW Return to Sport Plan can be found on our website. It is our understanding that all sporting activities can recommence from 1 July following the completion of a COVID-19 Safety Plan, however we are still awaiting the Public Health Order to confirm this. Please ensure you visit our dedicated Coronavirus webpage and read through all of the latest updates and guidelines. 2020 Sharkskin NSW IRB EventsThe Coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on the 2020 IRB season. Whilst restrictions continue to change and relax, the Surf Sports team has been planning ways to deliver a Sharkskin Premiership Round and the State Championships. There is still no clarity to enable confirmation of the dates, locations or the likelihood of the event proceeding, however, we are currently working towards dates based on the feedback received at the recent IRB Coach Team Managers Forum.
