General Manager's Update

As Australia’s leading commercial painting company, we are constantly striving for success and greatness in all areas of our work here at Omega Industries. Due to our substantial growth, we have recently employed a Marketing & Communications expert, Fidan Rasimoglou. I would like to welcome Fidan to the Omega Industries team.

At Omega Industries, we have signed a number of projects and maintenance contracts throughout metro and regional areas of NSW. Our highly dedicated and skilled projects team completed all allocated projects from start to finish within the timeframe, budget and a zero LTI (Lost Time Injury).

Omega Industries have recently achieved the PCCP certification (Painting Contractors Certification Program). The certification requires the contracting company to have all their Safety, Quality & Project documentation in place. This certification is run and audited by the CSIRO.

I would like to wish  all my colleagues and clients a happy and safe month ahead.

Regards, Blake Giovenco                General Manager

What's been happening at Omega?

Omega Industries have achieved the enviable status as Australia's leading commercial company as direct result of our dedication to customer service excellence as well as having a highly professional team of commercial painters steadfast in their commitment to your job.

At Omega Industries we always ensure that your painting projects are completed on time AND on budget.

This, alongside our effective project management techniques, makes for a unique commercial service unparalleled by others.

Omega Industries recently completed four NSW courthouse repaints under a tight deadline of two months. These works were carried out at Tamworth, Walgett, Bourke & Grafton. The Omega team travel far and wide to always deliver great product and outstanding workmanship.

For our many significant works, Omega Industries have been nominated for three awards at the Master Painters Association which will be held on the 19th of September, 2015. Awards include; Commercial New Work Under $100,000, Commercial Repaint Over $100,000 and Heritage and Restoration (Commercial) Over $30,000.  We as a company are honoured to be nominated for such great achievements.

There has recently been a global spotlight on refugees and asylum seekers. Regardless, of what side of the argument people are on, children shouldn’t feel outcasted and they also should not be involved in a political debate.

On the 31st of August, the Omega staff were involved in a team building exercise which involved toy building activities. The toys built were then donated to Fairfield Public School where many refugee children are enrolled. It was an enjoyable half-day exercise watching grown men struggle with building blocks! Video footage will soon be posted on our website and social media platforms.

New Projects

We are proud of our team here at Omega Industries for their outstanding work on all completed projects  for our wonderful clients this past month. Below we have featured a few!

The finished project at FPM Cereal Milling in Tamworth.

Client: FPM Cereal Milling Systems Pty Limited, Tamworth

Project: Abrasive Blast & Paint

We are ecstatic to have worked for FPM Cereal Milling, a privately owned independent flour miller who are categorised under the Crop Preparation Services for Market. We performed an abrasive blast and paint on all of their structural steel and silos using our Omega Paints Omethane in bright white. This project was completed during both night and day shifts working in with our clients needs.

Client: Cranbrook Care, Neutral Bay

Project: Scaffolding and Fireproofing

Cranbrook Care is a recognised and respected premier provider of quality residences, care and lifestyle services. Cranbrook Care selected Omega Industries as their painting contractors.

We applied a fireproof coating that resists fire from going into the building for a longer period of time compared to normal coatings.  We then applied a Dulux Weathershield coating to give the Cranbrook Care building a gratifying aesthetic look which also protects it from the weather.

Client: Beaumont Tiles,  Huntingwood

Project: Line Marking

We are proud to have been selected to  work for "Beaumont Tiles" who are Australia's biggest tile supplier bringing the world's best and latest tiles and bathroomware to Australian consumers, builders and renovators.

They are in fact a supplier to some of Australia's most popular renovation programmes which include The Block, House Rules and The Home Team.

This project involved line removal & new line marking. Over 500 pallet bays were worked on inside the warehouse plus traffic arrows which were located outside. The line marking removal was performed by using abrasive blasting in order to remove all of the unwanted bays. The works for this project were performed during the night so no interruptions were caused for the clients' day to day operations. The project was completed within a duration of five nights.

ELI CHAKTY, Project Manager

Company Role.. My main role at Omega Industries is to budget each project and report to the General Manager. I oversee my allocated jobs till the very end to make sure that we are on schedule.

What I like best about working for Omega Industries.. What I really enjoy here is the sense of togetherness that we have in the workplace and appreciation that we receive for our hard work. Our company truly values all employees on a personal level.

What I like to do outside of Omega Industries.. I enjoy reading books, fitness/wellbeing and travelling. I also really enjoy socialising with friends and meeting new people.

People would be surprised to know that..  I am a vegan. With this said, I really do hate vegetables.

One thing i can't live without.. The Internet. I mean where would the world be without it, right..?
