Aerotropolis Atlanta: ‘Blueprint’ Charts Course for Airport Area’s Growth

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, the world's most traveled airport, is arguably the region’s biggest economic asset. Recognizing the potential of the area surrounding the airport, the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance recently developed a roadmap for the area's future growth and development.

Public Art's Bold Brushstrokes Inspire Metro Atlanta Communities

Can public art improve and enliven the experience of transit riders in Atlanta? That's the goal of MARTA's En Route project. Atlanta artist Fahamu Pecou's striking mural at the King Memorial MARTA station is the first completed mural in the project. It was created with the help of funds from the Atlanta Regional Public Art Program.

This summer has been sizzling, with too little rain to break the heat. Most of North Georgia has been dry this spring and summer. We don’t know how long the current dry conditions may persist, so it’s important for all of us to use water wisely.

ARC's board recently approved the Atlanta Mobility Freight Plan Updatewhich features short-term and long-term strategies to enhance the movement of freight in metro Atlanta. 
    
The recently adopted Aerotropolis Atlanta Blueprint presents a vision and strategy for the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance.

The ARC Board meets at 1 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month, January through October, and the first Wednesday of December. Agendas and minutes of each meeting are available online.
