Resident Vaccination Modules

 

All Victorian Public Sector Residential Aged Care Services (PSRACS) are required to participate in the ‘Resident and herpes zoster, influenza and pneumococcal vaccination modules’. Data is to be collected and submitted during September.

Staphylococcus aureus blood stream infection (SAB) module review

 

VICNISS is currently reviewing the SAB module, specifically focusing on the development of a definition for peripheral venous catheter associated SAB. It is anticipated that this definition will be incorporated into the webform by January 2020.

 
 
 

Performance  Monitoring Framework 2019-20

 

The Victorian health services Performance Monitoring Framework 2019-20 is now available on the health.vic website.

The Routine Antibiotic Prophylaxis Recommendations - Summary of Therapeutic Guidelines is currently under review and an updated document will be made available, (located in the SSI module under support materials) once this review is complete.
