Therapeutic Guidelines 2019Staphylococcus aureus blood stream infection (SAB) module reviewVICNISS is currently reviewing the SAB module, specifically focusing on the development of a definition for peripheral venous catheter associated SAB. It is anticipated that this definition will be incorporated into the webform by January 2020. Performance Monitoring Framework 2019-20The Victorian health services Performance Monitoring Framework 2019-20 is now available on the health.vic website. Please note that this year there are two documents; the one containing detailed information about the indicators is Key Performance Measures and Underlying Risk Factors 2019–20 and can be found here: Routine antibiotic prophylaxis recommendations summary. The Routine Antibiotic Prophylaxis Recommendations - Summary of Therapeutic Guidelines is currently under review and an updated document will be made available, (located in the SSI module under support materials) once this review is complete.
