Zealana & cocoknits KAL and Contest

Zealana is super excited to announce that we’ll be partnering with cocoknits by Julie Weisenberger to kick-off the knitting season with a Fall KAL and contest. We hope you’ll join the KAL with a knitting group at the shop for this fun event. This is a great opportunity to hold a cocktail event in the shop, kit up the project and kick-off your yarn-selling season. We’ll be offering prizes at the end of the KAL for shop participation and individual knitters.

The promotion and Zealana support will include ongoing knitter and retailer KAL photos for promotion on Zealana’s Facebook page, a blog post (or two) on the Keeping in Touch Zealana blog, and KAL-specific YouTube videos from Cirilia Rose, our Brand Ambassador. We’ll release more details via a postcard campaign throughout August.

PASSPORT MAGAZINE

Kitting It Up!

With the knitting season just around the corner knitters are gearing up to cast-on. If the cocoknits KAL isn't for your shop, we’ve designed our free Passport magazine to inspire current and new Zealana customers alike. Each issue contains six exclusive patterns with a wide range of price points. There are designer interviews, travelogues, yarn samples, reviews and much more.

Several of our retailers have shared that they have begun to create shop displays of Passport projects, kitted up with the magazine. The cash register really starts to ring when they have put kits together. Knit up a project or contact Zealana to arrange a trunk show. Display the finished products with the kits and magazine. Entice your knitters with a collage of photos from Ravelry or Facebook, and create a space for them to post snapshots of their projects.
