Preoperative iron infusions at RPA, Concord and Canterbury Hospitals
Organising preoperative iron infusions is not only difficult to organise for general practitioners but more importantly leaves patients at risk of having their surgery cancelled. To ensure that the needs of general practices are met you are invited to complete a
short survey to determine the best way to investigate and manage preoperative anaemia and iron deficiency.
